These crackers are so easy to make and are perfect dipped in labneh or a yogurt sauce. This recipe is super flexible so you can substitute out the zaatar for another flavor if you’d like. These crackers are also full of different types of seeds so feel free to sub out any seeds you have on hand.
Ingredients:
250 grams all purpose flour
5 grams salt
25 grams sunflower seeds
15 grams sesame seeds
15 grams black sesame seeds
55 grams high quality olive oil
150-160 grams water
1 heaping tablespoon zaatar
Instructions:
1.) Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until well incorporated.
2.) Roll the dough out onto a floured surface. Roll the dough very thin (1-2 millimeters.) Place the rolled dough onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and cut with a pizza cutter. You can cut them into whatever shapes you’d like. I prefer rectangles but you can do triangles as well.
3.) Bake the crackers at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Flip them over and bake another 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
4.) Allow to cool and store in a air tight container.
