Date balls

Thank you to Mona from cookwithme_md for sharing this great idea on how to spice up how we break our fast during Ramadan. These date balls are nutritious, tasty, and fun to make. They are also a great way to get your kids to eat dates!
You can also check out Mona’s other recipe for magic flan cake.

Ingredients:

-Dates or Date paste
-Almonds
-Pistachios
-Sesame seeds

Instructions:

1.) Take some of the date paste and flatten it in your hand.

2.) Place an almond or a pistachio in the middle.

3.) Cover it and roll it into a ball.

4.) Coat the outside with sesame seeds.

Voila! That’s it. It literally takes 5 minutes to make. So easy and delicious!

Enjoy!

NOTES:
If you do not have date paste, you can make your own by pitting dates, putting them in a pan on low heat, adding water and mixing until soft and thick.
